SHLJ-14 Container Flat

The SHLJ-14 container flats were based on a similar frame as the SHL-5 wagons, but there were many differences. They entered service in the early 1980s. They were vacuum and air braked, had a fully enclosed platform and were fitted with Keystone Centre Sill hydraulic buffing equipment on the drawgear with 508mm of travel. They could transport 10, 20 and 40 foot containers
