RR CV-3 Passenger Guards Van

In 1915, Rhodesia Railways placed the CV-3 Passenger guards van into service. These were wooden bodied on a steel underframe. They included large baggage compartments at each end for passenger baggage and mail, a large safe and two dog boxes. They were built in the UK by Metropolitan Cammel. They were still in use into the 1970s, but are no longer in use

Supplied unpainted, but with a detailed interior. Bogies, wheels, brake wheels, couplers and screws are included. The model also features accurate underframe equipment and accurate roof vent spacing and arrangement.
