RR LHM-2 Livestock Wagon

Rhodesia Railways placed the LHM-2 in service between 1971 and 1972. In common with many freight wagons manufactured in Rhodesia during the sanctions period, they were constructed of steel frames and ribbed aluminium panels, aluminium being in plentiful supply in Rhodesia at the time and also lighter than steel. They could be found all over the Rhodesia Railways system, right into Botswana.

Supplied unpainted. Bogies, wheels, brake wheels, couplers and screws are included. The model also features accurate underframe equipment.
