SAR GD-1-C Composite First Class, Second Class and Guards Van

In 1965 the SAR placed the GD-1-C carriages into service. They featured 2 2nd Class compartments and a First Class coupe and could seat 15 people and sleep 14 as well as a guards compartment and a baggage area. They were equipped with a single toilet cubicle for passenger use, and a separate toilet for the guards use.

Supplied unpainted, but with a detailed interior with separately applied compartment doors, bunks and seat backrests so the modeller can customise the model as they wish. Bogies, wheels, brake wheels, couplers and screws are included. The model also features accurate underframe equipment and accurate roof vent spacing and arrangement.
